The color is closer to the flat lay image and not the outdoor ones, which seem to lean slightly lighter and more blue. I've attached a photo for reference that I think is more accurate.
The 5/6 size is likely going to be perfect for my daughter when she's 3, so I think unless your kid likes them very fitted (she likes them relaxed and looser), one size up might be better.

These rashguards are excellent quality. They are thicker and hold up better after a summer of wear than other versions. Worth the extra money! My only wish is that Minnow would list the colors of the mulitcolor boardies so you could make sure your rashguard is the right color.
