Technical Designer:

We are looking for a positive, proactive technical designer to help join our growing team in Charleston, SC! We are excited to have an experienced technical designer jump in and help support our current product lines. See below for responsibilities and experiences we are looking for. 

Specific Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for creating seasonal developmental tech packs (measurement page, construction page, bill of materials page)

  • Develop new finishing details, silhouettes and construction methods

  • Create and maintain consistent fit, construction and construction images of the product

  • Collaborate with cross functional teams and vendors to ensure bulk production reflects design intent and brand requirements

  • Source fit models, manage fit sessions, fit on models, and relay fit notes/fit photos to stakeholders

  • Track fit samples and update WIPS chart

  • Follow the sample through fit approvals to production; ensure consistency in fit and establish master blocks 

  • Review all existing patterns and pattern cards

  • Ensure compliance to US safety regulations regarding measurements, trims, hazardous materials and lab testing specifications

  • Building a library of styling features and quality requirements and ensuring compliance across styles

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Children's, women's and men's technical design experience

  • Swim experience (apparel experience a bonus as well!)

  • Experience working with both domestic and overseas vendors 

  • Well versed in reading patterns and understanding of how different fabrications translate

  • Full understanding of grade rules and tolerances

  • Experienced in garment construction and quality requirements

  • Clear and effective written and verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills

  • Strong organization and time management skills

  • Illustrator skills are a must

  • Browzwear and/or CLO3D a plus!

  • 5-8 years experience

Brand Marketing & Content Coordinator:

This position will act as a cross-functional brand marketing coordinator with a thread across Social Media, PR, Influencer and Brand Marketing. This role will also work in tandem with the VP of Brand Marketing as a secondary point of contact for all activity for minnow across Press/Edit and VIP/Influencer organic placement as well as all strategic brand partnerships and event/experiential brand activations. 

Key Responsibilities: 

Social Media: 

  • Develop and execute channel-specific social media strategies across all brand owned and operated platforms and channels 

  • Manage daily content calendar from concept to execution, planning channel-specific and brand-enhancing content across marketing channels

  • Maintain knowledge of social media best practices and trends across channels, with an eye on competitors, emerging channels and tactics

  • Under direction of VP of Brand Marketing and cross-functional teams, create a strategy and plan for new product launches, promotions, and collaborations, across channels that drive new customer acquisition and engagement

  • Work cross-functionally with our in house creative team on concept development, storytelling and production of engaging photo, video, and written content

  • Report on insights and performance, proactively making recommendations, updates and improvements based on findings

Influencer & Affiliate Influencer Strategy:

  • Works in tandem with the VP of Brand Marketing to guide the overall approach and the types of influencers that we work with to continue to infiltrate a new demographic and consumer base across key KPI’s: Awareness, Consideration & Conversion 

  • Connect the minnow brand to the most influential and aesthetically aligned/synergistic social media personalities to drive measurable business impact & brand consideration through influencer affiliate marketing channels and organic social promotion

  • In collaboration with the brand marketing team, guides the creative direction and product selection for phase campaigns and seasonal collection launches and evergreen/always-on product seeding 

  • Manages the scope, builds strong relationships with micro and mid-tier influencers and target creators for organic UGC content usage 

  • Work closely with marketing teams across brand creative and performance teams on timed execution in order to promote minnow product and delivery so there is a cohesive campaign alignment with internal strategy 

Brand Activations & Marketing Events: 

  • Experiential Calendaring and Management:

    • Assist the VP of Brand Marketing to ensure end-to-end management of all experiential marketing projects, including ideation, planning, execution, and post-event recaps.

  • Event Logistics:

    • Assist the VP of Brand Marketing to manage the logistical aspects of experiential marketing events; including partners, venues, production, vendors, and on-site coordination to ensure flawless execution.

    • Assist to organize all aspects of experiential activations, including ROS and production elements, while ensuring efficient allocation of resources and cost saving measures are met.

  • Project Performance & Reporting:

    • Under direction of VP of Brand Marketing, collaborate to define and report upon key performance indicators (KPIs) for experiential marketing activations and events.

    • Conduct thorough post-event recaps to measure success and identify areas for improvement.

  • Innovation and Creativity:

    • Stay updated on industry trends, and inspiring experiential marketing moments to continuously innovate and enhance the effectiveness of our projects while maintaining brand ethos and aesthetic 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree required

  • 1-3 years experience in a challenging work environment

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and working knowledge of ShopMy,, DashHudson, Planoly, Tribe Dynamics or similar social media tools.

  • Active social media user with robust working knowledge of all notable social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, X) and a curiosity for emerging trends in the space.

  • Able to work outside normal business hours for events and adapt to fast-paced nature
