tell us about yourself! where you're located, about your beautiful family and inspiring career.
i am a wife, mother, daughter and sister… social entrepreneur, earth lover, life-long vegetarian and FEED bag peddler. i live in nyc with my husband, david, and my three wild boys — james, max and rocky.
tell us about FEED and its amazing mission…
FEED’s mission is to raise meals and awareness to help feed children, mostly in school. this school meal is vital to helping ensure children get the nutrition they need and also encourages education. i founded FEED in 2007 and since then I am so proud that the FEED community and partners, like minnow, have helped us provide over 125 million school meals to kids globally as well as here in the u.s.
what’s in your FEED x minnow ‘mother bag’?
the real question is what will NOT be in my FEED x minnow mother bag… I am ready to put this bag to the test this summer toting around all my family’s summer essentials — towels, hats, sunscreen, boy toys, clothing changes, my summer read, journal and whatever else I think I will need in a given day. I am more on the move in summer than any other season, so I really plan to live out of this bag, literally.

what brings you the most joy as a parent?
it is true that as a parent the days are long but the years are short, so i'm personally working on being more present with and for my kids (and myself). i love going on adventures big and small with my kids and creating new memories. even a walk down the street can be an adventure. just being present for my kid’s observations, ideas and their growth and development is really fun.
