this summer, our family did a decent amount of travel! i popped up to montauk for our minnow surf camp + dinner at the crows nest. i hopped on the new direct breeze-y flight from charleston to islip, right into long island!
after spending the 4th of july in charleston, we headed west to visit family in laguna beach, california. my mom threw her annual ‘grammie camp’ with the cousins, and didn't miss making her homemade ice cream. i caught up with friends, took a duffy cruise, had lots of beach days, and visited a new restaurant in newport beach called molo.
after heading back from california, we took my son for the first time to sleepaway camp in the blue ridge mountains — does this make us official east coasters? dropping him off, fulfilled all my parent trap dreams as a kid, wishing I was 10 again!
next up, we headed to portugal for our resort 2024 shoot! I was a little nervous to attempt an international work shoot with my kids, but set my expectations low and it paid off. portugal was A+ for family travel — can't wait to share more during our resort launch next month!
