what to do

  • rent a Twizzy, a small electric car, for an easy way to get around Bermuda's winding roads. travel tip: rental cars aren’t allowed on the island, so your options are taxis (cash preferred), buses or the Twizzy.

  • visit the Crystal and Fantasy Caves for a fascinating glimpse into Bermuda’s natural history.

  • go to the beach! a few of our favorites for families include Horseshoe Bay Beach and Jobson’s Cove. for a long stretch of soft sand (ideal for walks and a morning swim), visit Elbow Beach. Warwick Long Bay is a less crowded spot and where we photographed part of the spring collection.

  • climb to the top of Gibb’s Hill Lighthouse for a panoramic view of the island.

  • Royal Navy Dockyard is home to the National Museum of Bermuda and holds art galleries, shops and so much history.

  • Cooper’s Island Nature Preserve is a quiet spot for walking trails and secluded beaches.

  • explore St. George’s charming streets and historic sites. stop by Lili Bermuda Perfumery for a locally made scent.

  • visit Hamilton, the island’s capital, lined with colorful buildings, shops and harborside dining.

  • The English Sports Shop is home of the original Bermuda shorts, a staple of island style since the early 1900s. stop by to browse their signature tailored shorts, cotton crewneck sweaters and classic menswear.

  • take a walking tour for a guided way around the island and take in the history and hidden gems.
